Job summary

Visy Group is seeking an experienced freight-forwarding salesperson to drive new business across the South Central USA. You will prospect, leverage relationships and opportunities to sell end-to-end logistics solutions, including air/ocean freight, customs brokerage and warehousing.

You will report to the VP of Sales and be responsible for developing new customers, negotiating agreements, and maintaining a robust pipeline across the region. Travel nationally as needed to grow revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive sales or logistics experience.
• Proven hunter with success prospecting and opening doors.
• Experience selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Transportation, Warehousing.
• Strong deal-closing mindset; map customer gaps to solutions.
• Willingness to travel nationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across the South Central USA.
• Proactively prospect and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Leverage relationships to create revenue opportunities.
• Sell Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics.
• Prepare proposals and tailor logistics solutions; negotiate agreements.
• Maintain CRM activity, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, marketing and product teams.
