Job summary

Visy is expanding its U.S. footprint and seeks an experienced freight-forwarding salesperson to lead new business development in Atlanta and the Southeast.

You will prospect, open doors, and convert opportunities into revenue across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and related logistics services. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will manage a full cycle from prospecting to close, build a strong pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive sales or logistics experience with freight-forwarding background.
• Hunter mentality with proven pipeline generation and closing ability.
• Experience selling Air/Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, and related logistics services.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across Atlanta and the Southeast USA.
• Proactively build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Leverage existing customer relationships to create revenue opportunities.
• Sell end-to-end logistics solutions including freight, brokerage, transportation, warehousing and contract logistics.
• Prepare customer proposals and tailor solutions to requirements.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Maintain CRM activity, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, marketing and product teams to deliver solutions.
