Job summary

Visy Logistics seeks an experienced logistics salesperson to drive new business in the U.S.-LATAM trade lane and beyond, selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics. You will own a personal revenue target and leverage relationships to build a qualified pipeline, with travel as needed.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will pursue new-logo customers across U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales or logistics experience with freight-forwarding background.
• Hunter mentality with proven prospecting and closing skills.
• Experience selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage and related services.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new-logo customers with U.S. and LATAM activity.
• Build targeted prospecting plans around priority countries and accounts.
• Prospect, map decision-makers and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Sell Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics.
• Develop tailored proposals and commercially competitive solutions.
• Advance opportunities with close plans, quotes and profitability discipline.
• Maintain CRM activity, pipeline values, gross profit potential, next steps and timing.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, operations, pricing, product and finance.
