Job summary

Visy Logistics seeks an experienced freight-forwarding salesperson to drive new business in Dallas/Fort Worth and the South Central USA. You will prospect, leverage relationships, and sell Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will develop opportunities across Industrial, Technology, Automotive, Retail, FMCG and Agriculture verticals and maintain a robust sales pipeline toward a

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive sales or logistics experience.
• Strong freight-forwarding background and knowledge of international logistics solutions.
• Proven hunter mentality with success prospecting and developing new relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across the South Central USA
• Proactively prospect and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Leverage existing customer relationships to create new revenue opportunities
• Sell Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics
• Prepare customer proposals and develop tailored logistics solutions
• Negotiate commercial agreements and convert opportunities into profitable revenue
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management and forecasting
• Work with operations, commercial, finance, marketing and product teams to deliver customer solutions
