Job summary

Bemark seeks a Transportation Coordinator to optimize shipping operations using our Transportation Management System (TMS). You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure loads are tendered promptly, and collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and Accounting to keep orders moving smoothly.

You will analyze routing data, negotiate carrier rates, and develop reports to improve service levels and reduce costs. Strong Excel and Windows skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of logistics/dispatch experience required.
• Fundamental knowledge of supply chain and logistics.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound, outbound, direct-ship, and backhaul shipments using a TMS.
• Ensure timely tendering of loads and resolve confirmations with carriers.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and Accounting to move POs through the system.
• Monitor routing data, carrier rates, and vendor allowances.
• Analyze lanes, negotiate rates, and propose cost-saving strategies.
• Audit carrier invoices and create performance reports for leadership.
