Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Transportation Specialist/Planner to ensure timely product delivery using the TMS for carrier selection based on cost, service, and capacity. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate-advanced).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to analyze data.

Responsibilities

Serve as Transportation Liaison between plants, carriers and customers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries across 30,000–35,000 shipments annually.
Execute route guides and carrier relationships; monitor KPIs and adjust as needed to reduce spot exposure and costs.
Identify trends, delays and exceptions; communicate with stakeholders and drive timely resolutions to keep goods moving.
Collaborate on weekly/monthly operational issues, discuss improvements, and support availability of transportation resources.
