Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee transportation and customs processes, ensuring accurate documentation for imports/exports and strong customer service. You will supervise staff, monitor performance, and drive process improvements across the department.

The role requires education in international business or related fields, plus several years of experience in logistics and compliance. A collaborative, global team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years related experience; 1+ year supervisory experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Credentials: ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations knowledge; Certifications may be required.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard software applications.
• Characteristics: Ability to allocate work, analyze problems, present alternatives, and implement solutions; strong reading and writing of business materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Oversee supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in retention and training; lead staff meetings and address performance issues.
• Review shipment documentation for accuracy; ensure compliance with regulations governing import/export processes.
• Compute duties, tariffs, and price conversions; communicate with customs to obtain releases and resolve delays.
• Establish and monitor policies for customs clearance operations; ensure consistent administration.
• Identify areas for improvement through audits and client reviews; monitor team performance vs standards.
• Communicate progress to operations manager; maintain flexible hours including after-hours on-call rotation.
• Participate in department projects related to assigned area.
