Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Dallas, TX is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee transportation and customs processes and to provide customer service for shipment and documentation of imports/exports in compliance with regulations. You will supervise staff, monitor performance, and coordinate with operations to meet client standards.

The role requires a four-year related experience, supervisory experience, and strong ITAR/export compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; four years related experience.
One year supervisory experience mandatory; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations knowledge; professional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Provide supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in training staff and customers; conduct staff meetings.
Oversee documentation accuracy; review invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements for regulatory compliance.
Compute duties, tariffs and weight/volume for imports/exports; liaise with customs officials to obtain release and resolve delays.
Establish and revise policies for customs clearance operations; ensure policies are followed.
Identify concerns in clients’ import/export processes via audits and reviews.
Coordinate with operations manager; maintain flexible hours and after-hours on-call rotation.
Participate in department projects within the area of responsibility.
