Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee transportation and customs processes, delivering excellent customer service for shipments, receipts, and documentation in line with federal and foreign regulations.

The role requires leadership in supervising staff, auditing shipment documents, and coordinating with customs authorities. Strong ITAR/Export compliance knowledge is desirable, with flexibility for after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least four years related experience.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience; preferred Bachelor’s in International Business, Logistics or related field.
• Three years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Provide responsible supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in staff retention and training.
• Oversee performance statistics; review shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Compute duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported/imported; liaise with customs officials.
• Establish, monitor, and revise policies for customs clearance operations and service standards.
• Identify areas of concern in import/export processes through audits and client reviews.
• Communicate with operations manager regarding progress; maintain on-call rotation and after-hours coverage.
• Participate in department projects related to the area of responsibility.
