Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Winchester, USA, seeks an Operations Supervisor I to lead inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities on a 6pm–6am schedule (2-2-3). You’ll supervise staff, manage labor, space, and equipment, and ensure safe, cost-effective operations in line with client requirements and SLAs.

You will hire and train team members, conduct performance reviews, plan daily work, and coordinate with the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift/MHE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Inform senior management and client representatives of critical issues affecting operations.
• Develop systems and procedures for safe, productive operations in line with SOPs and client requirements.
• Implement cost-saving measures and propose efficiency improvements.
• Meet client KPIs and comply with Quality system requirements.
• Plan daily work schedules, assign duties, and supervise warehouse staff.
