Job summary

Penske Logistics in Fullerton, CA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of 55 Class A drivers and oversee daily logistics operations, including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, dispatch, and customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and adherence to safety and cost objectives. Schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00AM–8:00PM, with bonus eligibility based on performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect, build rapport and maintain solid relationships with associates, Company leadership, internal and external customers.
• Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain that all supervisors and associates are trained and competent and understand how their work relates to the customers' business objectives.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control.
• Closely manage associates' working hours and activities to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets.
• Provide safety observations and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
• Grow customer experience by meeting location goals and pursuing continuous improvement.
