Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor in Stockton, CA to lead drivers and an hourly workforce, ensuring daily tasks meet customer needs and cost objectives. You will supervise dispatch, loading/unloading, and customer service, with performance management and single-location scheduling.

The role carries a salary range of $70,304.00–$83,600.00 and bonus eligibility based on location performance.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain training and competency for all supervisors and associates.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards; provide coaching.
• Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service and dispatch.
• Complete records and reports timely and accurately.
• Plan work assignments to maximize fleet utilization.
