TOTE Maritime Alaska in Anchorage is seeking a detail-oriented clerical assistant to support staff in a busy office environment. This union position offers steady day-to-day tasks and opportunities to grow within the operations team.

You will track container shipments using internal systems (EAM, Cargowise, Mainsail), handle customer inquiries by phone or email, generate and audit reports, and maintain accurate schedules with care and teamwork.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Clerical office experience or training preferred.
• Able to meet federal training standards for transportation workers within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Track container shipments using internal systems (EAM, Cargowise, Mainsail).
• Interact with customers by phone or email about deliveries and pickups.
• Generate reports in internal systems for multiple departments.
• Audit bills of lading and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinate container logistics with carriers.
• Record movement of containers and trailers at Anchorage terminal.
• Data entry using internal systems or Microsoft Excel.
• Build positive relationships with internal staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
