Job summary

USPack is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator in Kansas City. The role coordinates to meet company goals and contracts with Independent Contractors to move delivery equipment and products from client locations to destinations.

You will monitor routes, communicate with dispatch and ICs, and ensure on-time service while maintaining compliance and safety standards. Weekend/holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.
• Proactive and resourceful. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks with deadlines.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle.
• Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor routes to ensure coverage and on-time execution.
• Create routes per customer requirements and communicate changes to dispatch and ICs.
• Monitor dispatch board to meet customer requested delivery times.
• Communicate delays or problems to customer and dispatch.
• Ensure ICs provide services in requested vehicle type.
• Ensure ICs follow login processes and EC-mobile.
• Assist ICs with issues during dispatch.
• Arrange STAT coverage for customers as needed.
• Restructure routes to ensure on-time delivery when required.
• Ensure ICs provide contracted services per customer regulations.
• Assist with contracting ICs as needed.
• Complete daily service reports and administrative paperwork as directed.
• Verify IC paperwork is up-to-date.
