Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager to plan, direct, and optimize warehouse operations using the KOS/Shingo methodology. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the facility.

Strong leadership and strategic planning are essential to align with the company’s guiding principles. The position requires developing long-term site strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering financial metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics or Business or related field.
• Experience leading a team of salary and hourly associates.
• Experience with labor/workforce management systems (SAP, Red Prairie, High Jump).
• Lean culture and operational excellence awareness (5S, Kaizen) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site management and personnel to ensure compliance with operating procedures and policies.
• Develop long-term planning and strategic initiatives for the site.
• Responsible for KPIs, BI plans, efficiency programs, and P&L indices.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to site management and personnel.
• Promote Lean culture and continuous improvement through 5S, Gemba walks, A3s, Kaizen.
