Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a Distribution Center General Manager to plan, direct, and optimize warehouse operations using the KOS/Lean methodology. You will lead site management, drive safety and efficiency, and partner with customers to align site goals with strategic objectives.

The role requires a bachelor's in logistics or business, 7+ years of DC leadership, and proven people management with ERP and continuous improvement experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or business required.
• 7+ years of progressive DC/warehouse leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage salary and hourly staff and performance goals.
• Experience with labor/workforce systems (SAP/Red Prairie/High Jump).
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site management to ensure policies and SOPs are followed.
• Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial, and regulatory functions.
• Develop long-term plans and customer relationship strategies.
• Oversee KPIs, BI programs, efficiency initiatives, and P&L metrics.
• Provide coaching and build bench strength for sustainability.
• Promote Lean culture with 5S, Kaizen, and Gemba activities.
• Analyze operations to improve throughput and capacity planning.
