Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager to plan, direct and optimize warehouse operations. You will lead site management, ensuring safety, financial discipline, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement using the KOS/Shingo framework.

Focus on profitability and customer satisfaction through strategic initiatives and cross-functional leadership. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Logistics or related field and at least seven years managing DC teams;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or business required with 7+ years in DC/WMS roles.
• Experience leading salary and hourly teams; proven leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, Red Prairie or HighJump and standard office tools required.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site management and personnel to ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.
• Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial and regulatory functions on site.
• Develop long-term site plans and strategic initiatives for success.
• Own KPIs, BI plans, efficiency programs, and P&L reporting for the customer.
• Coach and mentor site management to sustain business and facility health.
• Promote Lean culture via 5S, Gemba walks, Kaizen, and employee ideas boards.
• Analyze operations to drive cross-functional efficiency and throughput.
• Build strong client relations and translate customer goals to site objectives.
