Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager in California to lead site operations, drive lean culture, and optimize profitability. You will oversee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding strategic initiatives and customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of DC/warehouse leadership, strong people skills, and experience with SAP/Red Prairie/High Jump. Occasional travel is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics or Business field is required.
• 7+ years in a distribution center or warehouse leadership role.
• Proven people-management and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Drive safety, quality, financials, and regulatory functions on site.
• Develop long-term site planning and customer relationship strategies.
• Manage KPIs, BIPs, efficiency programs, and P&L indices.
• Foster Lean culture with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
