Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Distribution Center General Manager in California. You will lead the site’s policy execution, manage a team of salary and hourly staff, and drive KPI, safety, and Lean initiatives to optimize operations.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and customer relationship management to ensure high performance and sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics or Business required.
• 7+ years in DC/warehouse management with salary and hourly staff.
• Experience with labor/workforce management systems (SAP, Red Prairie, High Jump) preferred.
• Six Sigma Belt preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate warehouse policies and procedures.
• Lead site management and staff to meet KPIs and P&L targets.
• Foster Lean culture with 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Build strong customer relationships and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
