Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Service Agent to provide customer service and operational support at the service center. You will handle inquiries, manage shipments and assist with various procedures to ensure timely pickup and delivery.

The role requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass FAA, TSA, and CBP background checks for a SIDA badge. This is an on-site position based at the service center.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in customer service or related field.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must pass FAA, TSA, and CBP background checks to obtain SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, sales and operational support for the Service Center.
• Answers phone and greets visitors.
• Resolves billing problems related to the Service Center.
• Researches shipment tracking and aims to resolve misplaced shipments.
• Communicates with Sales/Service to resolve customer problems.
• Assists with sorting, loading/unloading, documentation and shipments processing.
• Dispatches pickup/delivery information and coordinates daily pickup schedules.
• May process import/export documentation and assist in customs clearance in some markets.
