Quantimetrix, a rapidly growing biotechnology company based in Los Angeles, California, seeks a Distribution & Traffic Document Control Specialist to manage domestic orders, invoicing, and shipping documentation within the D&T department. The role requires 3+ years in shipping/receiving, Excel proficiency, and strong organizational skills.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to process improvements and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping/receiving experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process all domestic orders for daily invoicing before end-of-day deadline.
• Approve courier invoices weekly to meet end-of-week payment deadline.
• Update department SOPs in coordination with the department Manager.
• Maintain and update accurate department training records to ensure audit readiness.
• Manage electronic documentation within the ERP system.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and year-end cycle counts with the department Manager and Supervisor.
• Investigate shipment issues and report findings regarding customer complaints.
• File courier claims for damaged or lost shipments.
• Support the department Manager and Supervisor in meeting daily department productivity goals.
• Print and prepare sales orders for the shipping team daily.
• Pick finished goods from the inventory area to fill sales orders.
• Assemble, fill, tie, and pack materials into shipping cartons.
• Count, label, store, and stage released finished goods inventory.
• Train new or temporary employees on job duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
• Work occasional overtime as required by business needs.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
• Adhere to all company quality policies, compliance standards, and core mission statement.
