QUANTUM DESIGN INC. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage daily tasks using checklists and coordinate with the Purchasing Agent.

The role emphasizes accuracy, continuous improvement, and effective communication to ensure customer orders are accurate, priced well, and delivered on time. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in a warehouse/shipping role, solid MS Office and ERP knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in inventory/warehouse/shipping/receiving role
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP system(s)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Articulate with good telephone manner
• Attention to detail and following procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• High level of computer proficiency
• Can-do attitude and ability to work independently or in a team
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus

Responsibilities

• Schedules warehouse personnel activities and handles vendor communications
• Assists with delivery, scanner, and inventory issues
• Coordinates processing of customer orders
• Aligns workflow to meet daily targets and handles general inquiries
• Ensures IMS procedures are followed
• Trains warehouse personnel on the IMS system and ensures compliance
