Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickup and delivery.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain records of shipments and costs.
• Handle delays, damage, or loss and find solutions.
• Collaborate with DCs, carriers, and customer service to streamline processes.
• Analyze transportation costs and recommend improvements.
• Prepare reports on transportation activities and performance metrics.
• Assist with yard management and equipment movement as needed.
• Operate dock equipment and support daily functions, including MCLeod system questions.
