Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickup/delivery.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery times.
• Maintain records of shipments, costs, and documentation.
• Resolve delays, damage, or loss during transit with effective solutions.
• Collaborate with DCs, carriers, and customer service to streamline shipping.
• Analyze transportation costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Prepare reports on transportation activities and performance metrics.
• Perform hostler duties as needed and manage dock activities.
