Job summary

The NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet in York, PA seeks a Transportation Coordinator to manage and coordinate transportation logistics, schedule shipments, work with carriers and vendors, monitor performance, and resolve transit issues.

You will maintain shipment records, ensure regulatory compliance, generate reports, and collaborate with distribution centers and customer service to optimize shipping. Proficiency with McLeod and MS Office is expected; forklift/hostler experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in TMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickup and delivery.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and transportation costs.
• Collaborate with DCs, carriers, and customer service to streamline shipping processes.
• Prepare and generate reports on transportation activities and performance metrics.
