Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Dispatcher to own the transactional logistics schedule and office responsibilities for the assigned territory. You will decide on transportation modes, coordinate deliveries, and supervise staff to ensure on-time performance and high customer satisfaction.

You will adhere to safety policies, maintain documentation, and work with branch teams to optimize operations, scheduling, and vendor coordination across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 2 years work experience.
• 2 years experience managing one or more employees.
• OR 1 year of experience with WillScot.
• MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience.
• Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.
• Strong customer service orientation, active listening, excellent oral/written communication
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Own all transactional logistics schedule and office duties for assigned territory.
• Decide optimal transportation means (in-house or vendor) for cost and time efficiency.
• Maintain safety policies and respond to customer inquiries while aiming for high satisfaction.
• Provide supervisory oversight by assigning tasks and daily duties.
• Manage DOT compliance within the territory.
• Create dispatch plans and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and installations.
• Monitor digital tracking and communicate status to customers and vendors.
• Ensure paperwork, documentation, and signatures are completed.
