Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Dispatcher in Memphis, TN to schedule drivers, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and serve as the liaison between customers, drivers, and management.

You will plan routes, monitor on-time performance, communicate changes, maintain dispatch records, and support vendor and customer inquiries. A positive attitude, strong time management, and fluency in English are required, with daytime hours and a rotating on-call weekend schedule.

• Plan predetermined routes for drivers and monitor on-time performance.
• Identify traffic issues and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
• Prepare dispatch documents for management and maintain records of routes and times.
• Monitor truck maintenance and address vendor/customer inquiries; perform other duties as needed.
