Job summary

Maersk is hiring for a freight dispatch role in the United States. You will schedule drivers for deliveries and pickups, coordinating with customers and vendors to meet freight requirements and timelines.

You will act as a liaison between customers, drivers, and management, plan routes, and monitor service levels. A GED or higher is required, with 2–3 years of dispatch experience preferred; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong routing and multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers for deliveries and pickups with customers and vendors.
• Act as liaison between customers, drivers and management.
• Communicate freight details, pickup/drop-off times, and special requests.
• Plan predetermined routes for drivers and optimize efficiency.
• Document dispatch activity and maintain driver records.
• Log vendor complaints and monitor service levels.
• Handle calls from vendors, customers and management.
