Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to schedule drivers, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and serve as the liaison between customers, drivers and management.

The role requires strong time management, knowledge of traffic regulations, and proficiency with dispatch software. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on on-time performance and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations and routing considerations.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors and drivers.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and replan routes.
• Experience using dispatch software and computer systems.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking in English.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups; coordinate with customers and vendors.
• Maintain dispatch records, driver routes and times; monitor performance.
• Prepare dispatch documents for management and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor truck maintenance and log issues or complaints.
• Support management with route optimization and tight deadlines.
