Responsibilities

• Directly in charge of scheduling drivers for deliveries and pickups.
• Schedule drivers for freight delivery or collection as needed.
• Communicate with customers and vendors about freight details and timelines.
• Plan predetermined routes for drivers.
• Identify traffic issues and create corrective actions to meet deadlines.
• Prepare dispatch documents for management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain records of dispatch calls, driver routes, and times.
• Monitor truck maintenance schedules.
• Log vendor complaints or concerns.
• Answer calls from vendors, customers and management.
