Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Transportation and Customs Supervisor to oversee import/export processes, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service. The role involves supervising staff, training, and enforcing policies across operations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years in logistics, supervisory experience, and knowledge of ITAR/Export Compliance. Strong MS Office skills and communication abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years related experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent
• Three years of industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Supervise staff and assist in retention and training; lead meetings to discuss improvements.
• Review shipment documentation and ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate duties, tariffs, and weight/volume for imports/exports; liaise with customs.
• Establish and monitor policies for customs clearance per regulations.
• Identify process concerns via audits and client reviews; propose improvements.
• Coordinate with operations manager and support after-hours on-call rotation.
• Participate in department projects related to responsibilities.
