Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Liberty, MO is seeking a logistics leader to oversee transportation and customs processes, and to provide customer service for shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products in accordance with regulations.

You will supervise staff, monitor performance metrics, and shape policy and procedures for customs clearance while maintaining strong collaboration with operations management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum four years related experience; minimum one year supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Provide supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in staff and customer training; conduct staff meetings and address performance issues per policies.
• Oversee performance statistics.
• Establish, monitor, and revise policies for customs clearance operations per regulations.
• Communicate with operations manager regarding progress and issues.
