Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor II in East Liberty, OH to oversee transportation and customs activities, ensuring accurate documentation and top-tier customer service for shipments. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with at least four years’ related experience and one year of supervisory experience; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; at least four years of related experience.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent mix of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Supervise and control all departmental activities; assist in staff retention and training; conduct meetings and address performance issues.
• Oversee shipment documentation for accuracy; ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations.
• Compute duties, tariffs, and weight/volume; communicate with customs officials to obtain release and resolve delays.
• Establish and monitor customs clearance policies and procedures; ensure consistent administration.
• Identify areas of concern in import/export processes via audits and client reviews.
• Communicate progress with the operations manager; maintain flexible schedule, including after-hours on-call rotation.
• Participate in department projects related to the area.
