Job summary

CJ Logistics America in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for internal and external customers in the Welcome Center or Customer Service Office. The CSR will handle paperwork, maintain schedules, verify accuracy, and may assist with Shipping and Receiving tasks as needed.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AS400 or warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills necessary.
• Detail oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast moving environment.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain inbound and outbound schedules.
• Complete paperwork to ensure it is error-free and prepare orders for distribution to forklift operators.
• Process and schedule all carrier appointments.
• Communicate with customers on scheduling issues.
• Sign drivers in and out of the facility; verifying all paperwork.
• Assign dock doors to inbound and outbound loads.
• Maintain door accuracy and yard report for trailer inventory.
• Process Bills of Lading and related shipping documents.
• Reconcile inbounds with packing slips and coordinate drop lot activity.
• Collaborate with shift management to achieve shift goals.
• Report errors and issues to leadership to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in all training programs provided.
• Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner.
