Job summary

Venture Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Representative to build and maintain strong customer relationships and respond to needs and expectations. The role centers on proactive freight booking, collaborating with planning and dispatch, and delivering reliable service in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include updating customers, solving problems, and ensuring accurate data entry in the TMW system while maintaining consistent attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with customers and identify opportunities for growth.
• Book freight with urgency to keep drivers moving and reduce layovers.
• Plan with the planning group to book freight in advance.
• Identify potential service failures and work with planning/dispatch to remedy issues.
• Communicate status updates to customers and provide solutions.
• Enter data into TMW system accurately and completely.
• Work with customer scorecards to improve service and meet expectations.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
