Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Peabody, MA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and update shipment information. You will support Maersk stations and cartage agents while mastering customer applications.

Required is at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Excel is a plus. Remote work may be possible on occasion, with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
Technological aptitude using the internet and online tools such as MS Excel.
Ability to multitask and stay organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers.
Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received through email.
Make outgoing calls to follow up on shipment status, resolve issues, and update customers.
Track, trace, enter, and update shipments.
Assist and support Maersk stations and cartage agents.
Master outside customer applications.
Follow procedures for NCS accounts and inform management of modifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
