Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is expanding its customer service team in Palatine, IL. The Customer Service Representative II will act as a resource for customer requests, resolve delivery issues, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely solutions.

You will manage new and existing accounts, respond to inquiries, and promote additional services to improve satisfaction and profitability. A background in freight forwarding and 3–5 years in customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, 3PL, or trucking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests and resolve delivery issues in coordination with other departments.
• Use TMS to trace loads and provide shipment updates to customers.
• Respond to emails and calls promptly, meeting customer KPIs and milestones.
• Promote additional services to customers to contribute to profitability.
• Act as liaison between sales/account management and customers to enhance service.
