AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Brokerage Operations Representative II to join our team in Itasca, IL. You will book all contract expedite and ad-hoc freight, track shipments daily, and resolve issues to maintain customer SLA performance.

Responsibilities include sourcing qualified carriers, building customer and carrier relationships, handling accessorial charges, and supporting process improvements across the brokerage portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in logistics/transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Book all contract expedite and ad-hoc freight as required by customer.
• Prospect qualified carriers by daily sourcing calls to secure capacity meeting compliance guidelines.
• Establish, maintain and grow customer & carrier relationships within your portfolio.
• Proactively track and trace all booked shipments daily.
• Resolve customer issues including delays and order exceptions; communicate effectively.
• Ensure accessorial charges are communicated timely to maximize revenue; handle overages and freight claims.
• Own corrective actions and drive process improvements across operations.
• Ensure all metrics meet or exceed customer SLA's.
