Job summary

XPO is seeking a Customer Service Representative in San Diego, CA to support shipment billing, inquiries, and documentation accuracy. You will handle pricing, tariffs, and customer questions while maintaining files and performing clerical tasks on a dynamic loading-dock environment.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in customer service, strong typing and 10-key skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, plus the ability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bill shipments according to applicable tariffs and pricing agreements
• Recognize and resolve documentation errors
• Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies and billing and invoicing questions
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing
• Process over, short and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution
