Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for the onsite 3rd shift to drive efficient logistics operations. You will coordinate with customers, 3PLs, and carriers to ensure on-time shipments and cost-effective transportation.

Responsibilities include managing warehouse inbound/outbound flow, monitoring carrier performance, and providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
• 1-2 years experience in supply chain, logistics and/or transportation (preferred)
• Experience in logistics software and systems such as ERP, TMS, WMS
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Self-starter with ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
• Identify and address issues impacting customer satisfaction and improve the overall experience
• Coordinate with customers, 3PLs, carriers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to streamline the supply chain and meet KPIs/OKRs
• Arrange transportation for shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and haulers
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for Hub and Spoke locations
• Manage inbound/outbound warehouse activities, and trailer capacity
• Support data collection and analytics to improve transportation efficiency
• Collaborate with multiple parties to resolve issues
• Serve as main contact for logistics inquiries with internal departments and external vendors
• Coordinate with Google’s warehouse vendor and international shipments
• Monitor inbound/outbound deliveries to ensure on-time arrival
• Proactively resolve bottlenecks in shipping and receiving
• Develop and monitor carrier KPIs and metrics
• Identify corrective actions for delivery issues and SOPs
