CEVA Logistics in Hayward, CA is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager for Air & Ocean International Sales to generate new freight forwarding business and build a robust sales pipeline across global trade lanes. You will lead tender submissions, secure new clients, and collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

A proven B2B freight sales background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in freight forwarding, logistics, or outside sales (B2B).
• Proven track record of winning new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a personal sales pipeline.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products, services, and operations.
• Secure new air and ocean freight business to meet/exceed targets.
• Conduct client visits (virtual/in-person) to build relationships and close deals.
• Lead tender submissions and manage quotations with internal support.
• Apply consultative sales techniques to deliver value-driven experiences.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance to ensure service excellence.
• Report on sales activity, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasts.
