Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife is hiring for a Custodian to manage cleaning, laundry and general housekeeping at Indian Lodge, Fort Davis. You’ll maintain guest rooms, public areas and storage spaces, with opportunities to assist in grounds maintenance and events preparation.

The role requires basic education and relevant custodial experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to work 40 hours per week in varying shifts, outdoors and in a hotel-like facility.

Qualifications

• Completion of 8th grade.
• Six months of experience in cleaning, housekeeping or custodial work.
• Must possess a valid State driver’s license.
• Graduation from High School or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, restaurants, public use areas and storage areas.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Monitor grounds for litter and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Prepare lodge for seasonal holidays and events.
• Assist with facilities and grounds maintenance duties.
• Follow TPWD rules, regulations and procedures.
