Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an entry-level Housekeeping/Custodial role at Lake Thunderbird State Park. You will care for lodge rooms, guest cabins, and other tourism facilities, performing cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Typical duties include cleaning floors and rooms, restocking supplies, and assisting with daily operations. Some locations may require a valid driver's license, with schedule flexibility including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Some locations require a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, and hardware.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels and soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage.
• Moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs in order to clean effectively.
• Stocks housekeeping supplies.
• Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.
