Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Locksmith to perform maintenance on locks, access systems, and related hardware for commercial clients. You will install and service mechanical and electronic locking devices, manage key/control systems, and document work in CMMS, with emphasis on safety and quality per contract standards.

The role requires reading schematics, strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to support building security and access control across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Minimum of 4 years locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must read electrical schematics.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Completes all documentation in a CMMS.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic and customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Licenses/certifications as required by local, state and federal regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative or corrective maintenance on locks, doors and equipment with work orders.
• Installs, repairs and maintains pneumatic locking systems and related hardware.
• Installs, repairs and maintains maglocks, card readers and scanning devices.
• Establishes key lock systems for controlled building access.
• Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts locks; checks wear and replaces components.
• Responds to emergency requests regarding locking devices per standards.
• Maintains records and logs; data entry into CMMS.
• Stays updated on locksmith technologies and trends.
• Follows OSHA guidelines and safety requirements.
• Completes required compliance and developmental training.
