Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is hiring a Locksmith to perform skilled repair and service of locks, electronic access equipment, and related hardware in commercial facilities. The role includes making keys, maintaining security, and data entry in CMMS.

The position requires at least 1 year of locksmith or maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Candidates should be prepared for on-site work and occasional emergency responses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on locks, doors, and related hardware as directed.
• Installs and maintains pneumatic locking systems, door sensors, electric doors, and panic device openers.
• Installs and maintains electromagnetic latching systems and card-reading devices.
• Establishes secure key control across facilities.
• Responds to emergency lock issues and documents work orders in CMMS.
• Maintains records and logs; enters data into CMMS; follows OSHA guidelines.
• Trains other technicians and provides mentorship as needed.
