Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Locksmith to perform maintenance, installation, and repair of locks, electronic access systems, and related hardware. The role includes key control, emergency response, and data entry in CMMS.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of locksmith experience in commercial settings, strong communication, and the ability to read electrical schematics. A pre-employment drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must read electrical schematics.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• CMMS documentation is required.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Outstanding customer service orientation.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Licenses/certifications as required by local, state, federal regulations.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on locks, doors, and related hardware.
• Installs and maintains pneumatic locking systems and door hardware.
• Installs and maintains card readers and electronic access devices.
• Establishes secure key lock systems and controlled access.
• Cleans, lubricates, and inspects locks; replaces worn components.
• Responds to emergencies involving locking devices per standards.
• Completes maintenance records in CMMS and other logs.
• Maintains records and logs; accurate data entry into CMMS.
• Keeps up-to-date with locksmith technologies and trends.
• Complies with tool control, lock control policies, and OSHA guidelines.
