Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Locksmith for commercial facilities. You will perform maintenance on locks, access controls, and related hardware, including keying and security systems, with on-site responsibilities across facilities in the U.S.

This role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and compliance with CMMS documentation. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to stay current with locksmith technologies, while you ensure secure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must read and ascertain information on electrical schematics.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide outstanding customer service to meet client needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on locks, locking controls, doors, and related equipment.
• Installs and maintains pneumatic locking systems, door positioning sensors, electric doors, and panic devices.
• Installs and maintains electromagnetic latching systems; wires and installs card reading and scanning devices.
• Establishes key lock systems for controlled access and security.
• Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts locks; checks wear and repairs.
• Responds to emergency requests regarding problems with locking devices.
• Completes administrative tasks and documents work orders in CMMS.
• Maintains records and logs; entries into CMMS as required.
• Keeps up with advanced locksmith technologies and trends.
• Follows tool and lock control policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Continues education related to certifications in locking technologies.
• Communicates task timelines to Facility Manager/Supervisor.
• Ensures proper key control is established and followed by staff.
• Completes safety and developmental training as assigned.
