Job summary

CGL Companies is seeking a skilled Locksmith to perform maintenance and repair of locks and electronic access equipment across our facilities. The role requires installing and servicing mechanical and electronic locks, access controls, and related hardware to ensure building security.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial settings, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driverspersons license.

• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and customer service focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on locks, locking controls, doors, and related equipment per work orders.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains pneumatic locking systems, door sensors, electric doors, and panic device openers.
• Installs and maintains electromagnetic locking systems; wires and installs card-reading devices.
• Establishes key control and access systems for secured buildings.
• Responds to emergency requests regarding locking devices and services.
