Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Manager to lead our service operations. You will supervise technicians, coordinate dispatch, and ensure customers receive excellent service from start to finish.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting awareness, and hands-on knowledge of plumbing/HVAC. You’ll work with the general manager to plan staffing, training, and performance, while upholding our core values of integrity, ownership, and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong supervisory experience, communication and computer skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff, assist in hiring, scheduling, evaluating performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, service, and indoor air quality to improve operations.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the general manager on budgeting.
• Generate reports on departmental operations and inventory.
