Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Manager to lead field and office operations, ensuring a smooth daily workflow from service scheduling to customer delivery. You will coach technicians, partner with dispatch, and drive a high standard of service to every customer interaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong background in plumbing/HVAC, and the ability to manage budgets, performance, and schedules while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have strong supervisory experience and lead teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and computer skills for reporting and coordination.
• Experience managing operations and scheduling in a service/maintenance context.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops staff, including hiring, termination, discipline, scheduling, performance evaluation, and directing work assignments.
• Coordinates maintenance, service, and indoor air quality activities to improve operational efficiency using reports.
• Resolves customer issues to ensure satisfaction and coordinates with dispatch for proper technician deployment.
• Collaborates with general manager on creating and managing budgets.
• Generates reports and maintains records on inventory, tools, and vehicles; reviews reports with management.
• Instructs crews on proper use of materials and ensures quality workmanship.
• Monitors payroll records to ensure accurate technician pay.
• Ensures vehicles are stocked and warranty parts are returned as needed.
• Oversees training needs and staff evaluations.
